Húsavík Whale Museum is seeking an artist to create an exhibition in the museum's art space for next season 2020-21.
The exhibition's theme must be related to whales or their habitat in some way.
Work on setting up the exhibition is expected in January/February 2020.
Applications and requests can be sent to eva@whalemuseum.is with subject title Art 2020.
Application must include description of exhibition and artwork and budget plan.
Deadline for applications is at midnight on the 20thth October 2019.
About the current exhibition:
"Ocean & the whales" by Renata Ortega.
The exhibition consists of watercolor and acrylic paintings of whales living in the Atlantic and arctic oceans. The exhibition will be open until mid-December 2019.
