Today, a new educational exhibition about dolphins and killer whales was opened in the Whale Museum.
The exhibition was curated by the artist Sonia Levy, while the educational material for the new exhibition comes from Dr. Marianne Rasmussen at the Research Center of the University of Iceland in Húsavík, animal welfare expert Sabrina Brando and zoologist Mark Carwardine. The exhibition also offers wildlife pictures by the illustrator Uko Gorter, who specializes in drawings of marine mammals.

The information in the exhibition is obtained from the latest research and discoveries, and the space was designed in such a way that it is possible to change and add new information as appropriate.
Special emphasis was placed on the immediate environment, as most of the photographs used in the exhibition were taken on Skjálfanda or near Iceland and were taken by researchers and whale guides.
