The Húsavík Whale Museum is looking for an artist to create an exhibition in the museum's art space for the 2020-21 season.
The exhibit must be related to whales or their habitat in some way.
It is planned that work will be done on the installation of the exhibition in January/February 2020.
Applications or inquiries can be sent to eva@hvalasafn.is with the headline Art 2020.
The application must be accompanied by a description of the exhibition and works, together with a budget.
The application deadline is midnight on October 20, 2019.
About the current exhibition:
"Ocean & the whales" by Renata Ortega.
The exhibition consists of watercolor and acrylic paintings of whales found in the Atlantic Ocean and the Arctic Ocean. The exhibition runs until mid-December 2019.
