Attendance to rejoice

Then you can finally feel spring in the air in Húsavík after a little teasing by the weather gods. The staff of the Whale Museum in Húsavík feel that the tourism season is in full swing and attendance numbers at the museum have been increasing in the month of May.

Opening hours have been extended in May and the museum is now open every day from 09:00 to 18:00. From June to the end of August it will be open daily 08:30 - 18:30.

It is worth mentioning the Whale Museum's shop, which has a wide selection of souvenirs, books, clothing and Icelandic woolen carpets for sale, to name just a few.
