A successful study trip to New York City

Last weekend, the staff of the Whale Museum went on a successful study trip to New York together with their spouses. The purpose of the trip was to visit the American Museum of Natural History with the aim of exploring viable ways for interactive and digital solutions for the Whale Museum. A meeting was held with two employees of the Museum of Natural History, Jennifer Chow, Director of Marketing, and Raphael Pelegrino, Head of Digital Technology Solutions. In addition, the museum was inspected high and low. The rest of the weekend was spent in all kinds of entertainment in the city, as there was enough to do. The weather was very favorable for the Icelanders, clear and sunny, even though the temperature was in line with the time of year.

The staff of the Whale Museum in Húsavík would like to thank their colleagues at the American Museum of Natural History for the warm welcome and look forward to possible cooperation in the future.
