Art workshop with Marsibil Sól

I grew up with whales

The Whale Museum in collaboration with Studio Rolo are organizing an art workshop for children aged 8-12 that will be held at the Whale Museum from February 19th to 22nd.

The workshops take place in three ships from February 19–22, where participants get to explore their connection to the ocean, the whale world, and their own memories through a variety of artistic methods.

Marsil Sun, a product designer, has held a variety of art workshops around the country where she works purposefully with Icelandic heritage and national culture. Now she comes to Húsavík, at the Whale Museum, with workshops that discuss what it is like to live in constant proximity to whales — and thus raise interesting questions about the relationship between humans and nature.
